The Door County Beer Festival is a celebration of Wisconsin craft beer held annually at About Thyme Farm, a 150-year-old farmstead and barn in Baileys Harbor, Wisconsin. The 2026 edition on June 20 features more than 150 Wisconsin, Midwestern, and Door County beers from 45 breweries, along with live music and street food from Door County chefs.
General admission tickets start at $50 (August through November) and increase to $55 (December through event day). Early Access tickets, which allow earlier entry, run $70 to $75 depending on purchase date. Designated driver tickets are $15. The festival is a 21-and-older event — no one under 21 is permitted on the grounds.
Set in the picturesque countryside of Door County, the festival requires shuttle transportation — no parking is available at About Thyme Farm. Free shuttles run throughout the event. The 2025 edition notably featured all eight Door County breweries for the first time, alongside regional favorites and two home brewing clubs.
The Door County Beer Festival launched in 2015, organized by Peninsula Pacers, a local organization that manages multiple regional events in the Door County area. The founders chose About Thyme Farm in Baileys Harbor as the venue — a 150-year-old farmstead and barn that provides a uniquely charming, rustic backdrop for a craft beer celebration.
From its early days, the festival distinguished itself by focusing on Wisconsin and Midwestern breweries rather than casting a national net. This regional focus, combined with the stunning Door County setting, created a festival that feels more like a community gathering than a commercial beer event. The addition of street food from Door County chefs and live music enhances the local flavor.
The festival has steadily grown, with the 2025 edition reaching a milestone by hosting all eight Door County breweries for the first time. Two home brewing clubs also joined the lineup, adding a grassroots element that speaks to Wisconsin's deep craft beer culture. The tiered pricing system rewards early ticket purchasers, with prices starting lower in August and increasing as the event approaches.
