The Wild West Brew Fest Pflugerville was a craft beer festival organized by the Rotary Club of Pflugerville, held at Typhoon Texas Waterpark. The event was a 100% volunteer-run festival with all proceeds going back to the local community, funding student scholarships and supporting charitable organizations. The Wild West Brew Fest brand earned recognition as the "#1 Beerfest in North America" for multiple years.
As of December 2025, the Pflugerville location has been discontinued and will no longer be held. The Wild West Brew Fest brand continues at the Katy, Texas location organized by the Rotary Club of Katy.
The Wild West Brew Fest originated in 2012 in Katy, Texas, and expanded to Pflugerville through a partnership between the Rotary Clubs of Katy and Pflugerville. The Pflugerville edition launched around 2023, bringing the acclaimed craft beer festival to Central Texas at Typhoon Texas Waterpark. Run entirely by volunteers, the festival directed 100% of proceeds to local community causes including student scholarships and charitable organizations.
Despite the festival's popularity and its recognition as the "#1 Beerfest in North America," the Rotary Club of Pflugerville announced in December 2025 that the Pflugerville location would be discontinued. The Wild West Brew Fest legacy continues at the original Katy location.
