The Hill Country Craft Beer Festival (HCCBF) is an annual craft beer and wine tasting event held at the historic Wurstfest Grounds (Stelzenplatz) in New Braunfels, Texas. Presented by Kent Black's Original Black's Barbecue and hosted by the Rotary Club of New Braunfels, the 2026 edition marks the festival's 7th year. The festival features over 150 varieties of beer from more than 35 Texas breweries, plus locally sourced wines, food vendors, and live music.
General admission ($35 advance, $45 day-of) and VIP ($99, limited to 100) tickets include six 3-ounce tasting samples, with additional samples and full-sized beers available for purchase. VIP entry is at 2:00 PM, general admission at 2:30 PM. Free parking. This is a cashless event with RFID wristbands. Must be 21+ with valid ID; no children of any age, including babies.
The Hill Country Craft Beer Festival was launched in 2019 by the Rotary Club of New Braunfels in partnership with the Comal County Senior Citizens Foundation. Held at the Wurstfest Grounds — the same historic Stelzenplatz that hosts New Braunfels' famous Wurstfest — the festival found the perfect home in a community with deep German brewing heritage.
Now in its 7th year, the HCCBF has become a signature spring event in the Texas Hill Country. The festival showcases the region's thriving craft beer scene with 35+ Texas breweries and 140+ beer varieties alongside locally sourced wines. Kent Black's Original Black's Barbecue serves as the presenting sponsor, pairing Texas Hill Country BBQ tradition with craft beer culture.
