Baker's Dozen Fest is Portland's one-of-a-kind celebration of coffee, craft beer, and doughnuts — three things Portland does better than almost anywhere. The 10th annual edition takes place Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at The ZED at Zoiglhaus in Southeast Portland. The concept is delightfully simple: 13 breweries, 13 coffee roasters, and 13 bakeries, all collaborating for one morning of indulgence.
The breweries partner with local roasters to create unique coffee-infused beers, which are then paired with doughnuts from Portland's top bakeries. Tickets are $40 and all-inclusive — attendees receive 3-ounce beer samples, coffee tastings, and doughnut samples from all participants. The event sells out annually, so advance tickets are essential.
The 2026 edition partners with All Hands Raised, a nonprofit organization benefiting Portland public schools with a focus on racial equality.
Baker's Dozen Fest was created in 2016 by Brian Yaeger, a Portland-based beer writer who founded the event production company now known as Grand Craft Beer. Yaeger saw a natural connection between Portland's world-class coffee roasting, its prolific craft beer scene, and its obsession with artisan doughnuts. The "baker's dozen" concept — 13 of each — provided the perfect framework for a festival that celebrates all three.
From the beginning, the fest paired breweries with local coffee roasters to create one-of-a-kind coffee beers, then added doughnut makers to complete the trifecta. The intimate, three-hour morning format was intentional: this isn't a marathon beer fest but a curated tasting experience that ends at lunchtime, leaving attendees buzzing (in the best way) for the rest of their Saturday.
The move to The ZED at Zoiglhaus in Southeast Portland gave the event a dedicated home in one of the city's most vibrant brewery neighborhoods. Now celebrating its 10th anniversary, Baker's Dozen has become a beloved Portland tradition that sells out every year — a testament to the enduring appeal of beer, coffee, and doughnuts together.
