Brew in the Lou is a St. Louis fall tradition, held annually at Francis Park along the scenic Lily Pond banks. The 2026 edition is scheduled for Saturday, October 10 from 1-5 PM, organized by the Lutheran Elementary School Association (LESA) as its signature annual fundraiser. The festival features over 80 tasting and vendor stations showcasing local, regional, and national craft breweries, distilleries, and wineries.
General admission tickets ($55 advance, $65 day-of) include unlimited beer, wine, spirits, and food tastings while supplies last, plus a commemorative glass. VIP tickets ($125 advance) offer an elevated experience. Tickets go on sale August 1 each year.
Brew in the Lou was launched in 2011 by the Lutheran Elementary School Association (LESA) as a fundraiser to support Lutheran elementary schools in the St. Louis area. What began as a modest community event has grown into one of the city's most anticipated fall festivals, drawing over 2,000 guests each year to Francis Park.
The choice of Francis Park gives the festival a distinctly neighborhood feel. The Lily Pond provides a picturesque backdrop as tasting stations line its banks, creating a stroll-and-sip experience that feels more like a garden party than a typical beer festival. The park setting has helped Brew in the Lou carve out a unique identity in a city with a rich brewing heritage.
Over its history, the festival has expanded to include wineries and distilleries alongside craft breweries. LESA has grown the event to feature over 80 tasting stations and added food from popular area restaurants, live music, and VIP experiences. Through it all, the fundraising mission remains at the heart — every ticket sold directly supports education at LESA schools.
