But when Cleveland Spears III and his team launched Brews, Boils & Bubbles in 2024 along the New Orleans Lakefront, they found a gap in the calendar that nobody realized was there. The producers of the wildly successful National Fried Chicken Festival took their event-production expertise and applied it to two things New Orleans does better than anywhere: boiling seafood and drinking beer. The inaugural BBB drew crowds to the lakefront for a day of crawfish, crabs, craft brews, and live music under the Louisiana sun.

The concept is simple but effective: gather the best boil masters from restaurants across the state, pair them with a curated selection of craft beers and premium spirits, add multiple stages of live entertainment, and let the New Orleans lakefront do the rest. For the 2026 edition, organizers expanded the event to all ages, recognizing that a seafood boil is a family affair in Louisiana, not just a drinking event. The low $5 general admission price makes it one of the most accessible major festivals in the city.

In just three years, Brews, Boils & Bubbles has established itself as a must-attend event on the New Orleans spring calendar.
