Hawaii Beer Fest is Honolulu's craft beer festival series, held on the Great Lawn at the iconic Bishop Museum. Presented by Kurious Productions and benefiting the Rotary Club of Honolulu, the event features over 100 craft beers, ciders, and seltzers alongside gourmet eats, local vendors, and live music. The festival runs multiple editions each year including summer, winter, and the Halloween-themed Boos & Brews. The 2025 summer edition is Saturday, June 21, with VIP early access at 5:00 PM and GA doors at 6:00 PM. Ticket prices start at $50 GA and $85 VIP, increasing as the event approaches. VIP includes early access, commemorative swag, and an acrylic tasting cup. Parking is $15 at the Bishop Museum lot.
Hawaii Beer Fest launched in 2020 under the vision of Kurious Productions, a Honolulu-based events company that saw an opportunity to create a dedicated craft beer festival for Oahu. Choosing the Bishop Museum Great Lawn as their venue was a masterstroke — the museum, founded in 1889 and home to the world's largest collection of Polynesian cultural artifacts, provides a stunning outdoor setting that elevates the entire festival experience.
From its inaugural event, Hawaii Beer Fest partnered with the Rotary Club of Honolulu, ensuring that a portion of every ticket sale goes back to the community. The festival has grown rapidly, expanding from a single annual event to a multi-edition series that includes the summer flagship, a winter edition, and the popular Boos & Brews Halloween celebration. Each edition features over 100 craft beers, ciders, and seltzers from both local Hawaiian breweries and mainland producers. The pricing model rewards early commitment — tickets start low and increase monthly.
