Burp Fest at North Park Festival of Beers 2026

The North Park Festival of Beers has been a cornerstone of San Diego's vibrant North Park neighborhood since 2011, combining the community's love of craft beer with its deep roots in local music and arts. Now entering its 16th year, the festival transforms a stretch of El Cajon Boulevard in front of the historic Lafayette Hotel into an open-air celebration that showcases more than 40 San Diego County craft breweries pouring over 80 ales and lagers.

Presented by legendary local radio station 91X and organized by SDS Events USA, the festival has maintained a distinctly neighborhood feel even as it has grown in stature. What sets North Park apart from other San Diego beer festivals is its commitment to supporting the local music scene — all proceeds benefit the San Diego Music Foundation and its Guitars for Schools program, which puts instruments in the hands of local students. The live music lineup consistently features San Diego Music Awards nominees, with 2026 headliner Louis XIV carrying on that tradition.

The festival's home in North Park — one of San Diego's most walkable, culturally rich neighborhoods — adds to its appeal. Attendees can wander between brewery booths, food vendors, and craft artisan stalls while live music fills the boulevard. VIP ticket holders enjoy an extra hour of tasting starting at noon with access to specialty beers not available during general admission.
